Geeta Mandir promotes serving of free food, clothes, and education to the unpreviledged. Feeding the hungry with expecting nothing in return is the biggest service towards God. Food offered to God, a deity or a saint, is called prasad. 'Prasad' literally means a gracious gift. 

In accordance with the principles enshrined in the Holy Bhagwad Geeta, we at Geeta Mandir believe in sharing prasad with everyone without expecting anything in return. In the 26th verse of Chapter 9, the Blessed Lord says:
